headmaster

It's that time of the year again, and I've recently made my bi-monthly journey to New Malden for a haircut! After searching high and low for a decent Edward Scissorhands, I've found a cute and boyish Korean guy called Sam. The price is cheap and the service is good: they offer you tea and a head massage just like the ones I had back home. I simply don't believe in paying a 20+ quid for something that will grow back again, and so London prices are unacceptable. It would take an almost superhuman effort to dislike Sam. With his sweet smile and basic English vocabulary he eagerly tells you about his wife and new discoveries in England; most importantly, he does a good job. I once read on the BBC news website that hairdressers are the happiest profession in the nation. Too bad Sam is no longer working at the Korean hairdressing salon. Not too worry. This new Korean lady called Michelle is equally skillful, and perhaps better. However, she's quite good at encouraging you to spend more cash on their other services, but that does not work on me.
