Unbalanced Vision

A follow-up to yesterday's dinner extravaganza: Z and Ish arrived earlier than expected, so ingredients were still in their primitive stages. Luckily, unlike Mr Fort I'm a very unselfish cook who allows my guests to do everything in the kitchen. Also, I choose to flout the law of the recipe by not putting in the exact amount--this I say, is a sign of genius. Z was in charge of the lentils with poached egg, whilst Ish displayed his frying talent in making hake and chorizo fishcakes (without the chorizo)--the food was delicious. The dessert course was replaced by cakes from PAUL, super! Later on, Z's boyfriend L arrived, and we made him fix our dining table. I'm such a great hostess.
