enlightenment
Silently from Monday onwards, I would have to tick a different age box (26-34) in surveys; 26 going on 30 with smidgens of 4! Many say it all goes downhill from now, however, the process of ageing can be romantic (I understand years ahead I will certainly change tone.) I've seen cool grey-haired ladies cycling alongside fierce cars and motorbikes on the streets of London, or my old (literally) 70-year-old Logic course tutor who stands upright to give lectures--this might be something to aspire to. This year's birthday was fairly quiet. One reason is that I have tons of reading and writing to do, yet this doesn't bother me that much. Maybe I'll arrange a belated birthday drinks next week after I've completed the essay. I also received a smashing birthday present from HY, a DIY lampshade which I planned to give him for his next birthday as well--what a coincidence. Anyways, we attempted to make the lampshade together, but after 5 seconds of pretending to share the toy with me, HY grabbed all the bits and decided to work it out himself. Humpf... I thought this was mine! With his artistic hands, HY proudly built two lampshades, but as he left the room, I took them all apart and made my very own oval-shaped design. HAHAHAHAHA.
This is how you do it.
HY made this one.
Smile.
Doesn't it look very beautiful?
